Hi guys , im in uk and have just been given an old Beko 16228nx TV with beko remote. The picture is lovely apart from it is verticly shifted up. On opening the set i can see no adjustment pots. So after googling i found that other beko sets can have their geometry adjusted by entering service mode. One site said you need a special service remote (no longer available) ,it is identical to the standard remote ,just with an extra button for service mode. I have a MAXVIEW uni remote ,would anyone know of any codes that may give this ability? or does anyone know another way to enter service mode on a beko?

Your best bet would be to get a "One For All" learning remote and a JP1 cable. You would then use these to capture and decode the signals sent by the Beko remote. You would then use this captured info to create an upgrade for the OFA remote that would work the Beko. Then finally, you could test any unused "OBC" codes to see if you can find the service code.
