I have a Universal Remote that came with my Digital Cable box and cannot seem to find a code that works with an Audiovox FPE1506 LCD TV. I've tried all the standard codes available in the manual and tried a code search on the remote but came up with nothing. Can anyone help me please??? Any suggestions are welcomed!!

Sorry!!

I have a Scientific Atlanta Cable Box (Explorer 3250) and and Audiovox LCD TV (FPE1506). I cannot find a code for the cable box's universal remote. The remote is a (URC 7820B00-SA 09711) from the Cable company other numbers that appear on the remote are (Z061064 A 002363 LF) and the Cable companys lists it as an (M7820) DVR Universal remote. I have tried the codes that the user manual suggests (0451, 0180, 0623 and, 0092) all of which do not work and have tried a manual search for the code on the remote with no luck. I was hoping someone with a bit more knowledge on the subject maight have any suggestions or other codes I could try to get this to work with the TV. Thanks!!

THAT is the way to write a post. I wish I could answer this for you.

Don't think it's just you (see my signature), but thanks for picking up the method so quickly.
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

It sounds like your SA remote is really a UEI remote, which means that all of the setup codes listed are the same as "One For All" setup codes. If your remote is the one shown in this user manual it is definitely a UEI remote.

UEI remotes have a "code search" function which lets you toggle through all the codes to see if any of them match your device, so I would recommend that you try this.

I checked the JP1 folders and we don't have any upgrades for any Audivox TVs, so I can't look up what code you are looking for.

One of the newest UEI remotes, the RC64 directv remote lists these audiovox tv codes: 10451, 10180, 10092, 10003, 10623, 10710, 10802, 10846, 10875, 1284, 11937, 11951, 11952. drop the first one in the code #.
