I bought a new RCA RCR860 universal remote and need to find a code to program it to operate my Hitachi 60FX20B TV (Mfg 10/2002). I tried all of the codes and none worked, neither did the manual or automatic code search. It works fine with all of my other components. Thanks

How did u get it into automatic code search mode?

But don't bother trying to get it to work with your Comcast/Motorola box. It doesn't work with that component, it has a bug.

This remote works fine with my Cbl tuner/audio tuner and TV and sony VCR, but I can not get it to work with my philips CVC player.

Cbl tuner= Scientific Atlanta Explorer 3100
VCR = Sony SLV - N55
Audio center = Kenwood VR-6050
TV(CRT) = Zenith SR2789DT (yes, it's still CRT, I am riding this one until it dies a horrible death!!)

DVD +R burner/player= Philips DVDR 3400
