Hey guys, I'm looking for the codes for a Philips CLO19 (is that a "O" or a "zero"?). I've done several searches on this website and through google but no one seems to have any info on this remote.
I'd even settle for a way to use the code search on this model. I've tried the -Hold Code Search -Press and release the button for the device you want to set up (TV) -Press and release the channel button until your device responds -Press and release mute
This process did not work. The codes and/or any information would be great. Thanks!

Okay so I figured out how to get the code search to work. After reading the steps for a different model of remote I figured I'd give it a shot. The following worked for my Philips CL019:
[1] Ensure the device you're setting is powered on [2] Press and hold the Code Search button until the red led is solid [3] Press the button for the device you want to set (DVD or TV or Cable) [4] Press and release the "Power" button on the remote until the device you're setting turns off [5] Press the "Enter" key to set the code [6] Rinse and repeat for your other two devices

Interestingly this thread (not two steps away from yours) deals with an enquiry regarding a CL019.

Yeah that was the only post I could find with any info for the CL019. As a side note I found the book with all my codes for this model. I'll in the process of copying the codes into my computer. Will have them available for those who need them.

Hi, I have the same problem that you did a Phillips Universal Remote #CL019 with no code for a Energy Star Television. Do you happen to have the code? Thank you!

Hi, . . . a Energy Star Television. Is that a make or a compliant TV? If, as I assume, it's the latter, I think we'll be needing a little more information.

Hi. I'm unsure if anyone still checks this thread. But my problem with the CL019 remote is that it does not work on the Philips TV w/ built-in Magnavox VCR. I've tried the codes listed for both brands and have tried the Code Search using Channel Up/Down and Power button. And even though it works with my Sansui TV and Sylvannia VCR/DVD Player, it does not work with the Philips TV. After so many presses using Code Search, the light finally flashes four times and then turns off. It wouldn't be so frustrating, but a couple months ago, I was able to program the remote for the Philips TV and Sansui TV interchangeably with no problems. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks,
Brandon

Theolis, I don't mean to sound dumb here; but what does "rinse and repeat mean"? Wouldn't that cancel the previous input?

Theolis,
I tried what you posted...I got the solid red light but my remote won't power off. Also, I don't mean to sound dumb here; but what does "rinse and repeat mean"? Wouldn't that cancel the previous input?
