RCA model 20F510TD, Polaroid model TTM2003 and possibly one model of insignia tv are probably made by the same manufacturer. They all use a remote with the model number KK-Y284B. No one knows who makes this remote or what the codes are. RCA's tech help is of no use and they dont even know anything about their own product. Polaroid is worse than RCA as far as any support at all. Insignia is the worst of all, they dont even bother to answer. If you have direct tv or dish tv do not purchase any of these tv/dvd combos. They will not work with your direct tv universal remote. Not only that, the companies offer no support at all other than listening to what you have to say!!! If you have bought one, save yourself a lot of frustation and take it back to where you bought it. Buy a plain old tv with no built in dvd or vcr. Use a separate dvd player or vcr, you will be a lot happier. I cant take my tv/dvd back as it was given to me as a service anniversary gift at my work place. I will probably give the tv away to one of the kids in my neighborhood. Then purchase a new tv and a separate dvd player. It will not be an RCA, Polaroid or Insignia tv. NUFF SAID!!!!!!!
P.S. The RCA universal remotes sold by Circuit City, Best Buy and numerous other vendors will not work with my tv! RCA universal remotes will not work with my RCA tv, great huh!!!

If you aren't using the tv and don't need the remote at this time. How about letting me borrow it? If there is code in any remote, especially the dtv remote, I'll find it. For your trouble I'll send the remote back along with a universal learning remote. You have choice of a one-for-all 8820, 10820, or a URC urc-100 whose backlight doesn't work. my email is in my profile.

I have a Harmony learning remote that I use with it when I have to. Its works just fine but my wife doesnt like it. Let me set up the harmony to work with just the tv without the satellite receiver and I will take you up on the deal. Beware though, the remote for the tv lists for $59.95. If I lose it, I wil have a hard time replacing it. It would be worth it just to find out what codes they are using for this remote and who makes it. I started to crack the remote open and thought better of it. I can see two numbers on the circuit board through the battery holder and they are: 16111 and 11111. Dont know what they mean but it wont program using them. Which remote are you referring to, the direct tv remote or the tv remote?

A directv remote, I'll search both tv & dvd codes by power & vol. I have directv remotes rc24, rc32, rc32rf, rc32bb. The rc32bb as so many newer codes that the rest. I sure hoping when they released the rc32rf it would match the rc32bb in code lists.

I don't own the rca tv, so I would teach the commands from your remote to my av selector with a learning feature. I'll codesearch until it trips the av selector. I have come up codes for many people this way.

I also have many universal remotes from different makers to codesearch as well. And some that are upgradeable, if need be I'll have codes downloaded over the phone.

I have an rc23 and an rc32 but I dont know what series the rc32 is. Is there a way to find out? I have to go out of town until this coming friday. When I get back, let me know what you would like having sent to you. I will gladly send one or both. Do you need the rca remote also? Let me know and I will email you and get your address and send you whatever you need.

I missed understood, I don't need any directv remotes, I have them all. What I'm missing is the rca remote and its commands. Without actually having the rca commands I don't know what to search for, sorry.
