Hello, I am new to this website and looking for some help from more experienced people on a nagging problem i have had lately on my newly purchased remote(s). Here's the breakdown.

I own two Panasonic TV's with built in VCR's (PVQ-2511 and PV-M2036). Never really had any problems with them, yet their remotes seemed to be giving out. The main TV in use which is the PVQ-2511, it's right volume button would not work at all, yet all other buttons seemed fine and the other one in the bedroom which is the PV-M2036, it's lower pad which included all the numbers would not work at all. I decided to get a universal remote for the PVQ-2511 considering it was the most used and the volume problem was too nagging. I decided to purchase the RCA RCU300T Universal Remote...seemed simple enough.

I had little problems programming the remote to the television (had to use a VCR code instead of a TV due to the built-in system, code 109 was used for reference). The remote worked great, it even worked on the other Panasonic TV which just meant I could bring the remote from room to room and use it on whichever one I was occupying...then a few days came. For some unexpected reason, the volume controls on the remote would not simply work at all (including Mute). All the other necessary buttons worked fine for me...i could change channels, turn the TV off and on, type in channels, go back to previous channel. I tried the remote on a third television of mine...an old RCA model which i have no idea what it is, but the first code entered (000) worked. I could turn the volume up and down and all the rest of the functions fine...i figured it happens and went to the store and purchased a second one, considering it wasn't a very expensive remote in the first place and I could use the first one for the RCA TV which still got used.

Came home with the second remote, programmed it, worked great...then the same thing happened after a few days...the volume controls would simply not work....I tried to program the TV just to the TV using all the codes...tried the rest of the VCR codes (only one that works for any of the TV's is 109). Can anyone help me with this issue? Can I remedy it or should I go with a new universal remote? Will any universal remote work properly with a Panasonic built-in combo or there an issue there?

Any responses would be immensely appreciated. Thank you.
