If it helps, this is what the remote looks like...

This is a loooong shot, but try the following:

(1) Obtain a One-for-All three-digit set up code for the device you want to program, for example from Rob's site ( www.hifi-remote.com ) or from the archives at www.oneforall.com. Note that you need the three digit codes that were used with the older models, not the newer four-digit codes.

(2) Add 17 to it.

(3) Press and hold "set up" until the LED blinks (or lights steadily, I'm not sure which)

(4) WHILE CONTINUING TO HOLD DOWN "set up", enter the three digits you got at step 2 above.

Remember, this is an old remote, it may not have many of the newer devices or codes in it.

Hope that works!!!

As you can see from the following (very old) threads, people have been looking for these codes before, without success...

If it's worth $14.25 to you to get the codes, you can buy a second remote with a manual from this ebay listing...

Alternatively, your remote looks somewhat similar to this one, so maybe these instructions will work for you...

I don't have this remote myself (nor would I want one, to be honest) otherwise I would simply have quoted how to do it from the manual.

Therefore, the best I can do is show you where you can buy a manual (with a free remote) and give you an alternative manual to try.

The manual that I posted the link for is made by the same company, it looks somewhat similar and it has a SETUP button. However, I assume that you've already tried the search method as described on page 8 of that manual and I further assume that it didn't work, in which case I'm all out of guesses.

With the help of the posts here, I was able to program a remote like the one pictured.
1) Press device key (TV, AUX, CAB or VCR)
2) Press and hold SET UP button (keep it pressed until you enter the code)
3) Enter 3 digit code (2 quick flashes of LED seems to mean a good code).
4) Release SET UP button.
The 3 digit codes can be found at:

(add 17 to the code numbers on the charts)
Thanks for the help, Jim
