Still having problems, this time with learning.

We have a Humax 5400Z satellite decoder (nothing on this in the database) which is used for TV and radio. The audio signal is piped around the house so the RF ability of the 800 to change channels is appealing.

All the keypad numbers are learned correctly as they are in the 700. In the 700 a simple macro for "6", then a time delay of 0.2 followed by a macro to "2" yields the channel 62 with no problem.

Now try the same thing on the 800 and it will show the "6", do a bit of a fiddle & then stay on 6. Manually, I can, after a few attempts, get "62" in but not reliably. I've tried:

* altering the time delays from 0 to 1.5 seconds - no joy

* learning from the "62" in the 700 - still no joy

* setting the 800 to IR only (when it should, theoretically be the same as the 700) - no joy

* importing the file from the 700 for the Humax -> massive corruption posted about earlier

Any suggestions, PLEASE?

TIA

John
