Has anyone had any trouble trying to learn a Universal Remote either an MX-500 or MX-600 to the new HD Tivo box for Direct TV. I have tried time and time again and still have had no good luck. I have tried 2 different remotes to clone the remote and it does not want to work normally. The Univeral Remote does not work all the time but "when and if" if feels like it, it does actually change the channels. I have even tried to move the equipment so it shoots the IR directly into the Tivo unit. Does anyone have any ideas what else I can try?
Thanks

I have taught 4 different tivo remote addresses to my mx-600's, with no problems, but I used older peanut remotes. It's only recent peanut remotes giving learning remotes fits.
