Someone recommended this site, so here I am. Any help will be appreciated.
I have a Reference Line preamp that died several weeks ago. Would a universal remote be likely to work for a rather obscure piece of high-end audio equipment? Is it likely that a relatively small company had their own remote system made, or would they more likely have bought the gear and put their own name on the remote control box?
Any help would be gratefully received. I'd rather not spend $100 or more on a remote, but I do want to get something that works. The unit in the preamp is fine. Only the remote went dead.
Thanks very much.
