I have recently purchased an RCA universal remote and cannot get it to interact with my insignia LCD TV. Any ideas? It could not automatically detect the TV and has no codes for it. Am I SoL? Thanks in advance.

I just bought an Insignia TV as well and would love to be able to control it with my Tivo remote. Anybody have the codes for the tv yet?

I also would like the codes for the Insignia. Did you get them?
I would like to control my TV with my Dishnetwork remote.

I have the same remote, when I went to best but they said no code for isignia. Guess what?? They were wrong. just one thing , do code serch and please be patient. because it does work!!!! That is how I got mine to work with isignia tv. Trust me on it. I have had remote for 2 years now and it works, actualy I have everything working with it, cable, dvd, vhs, even my stereo... They say no I tried and yes it does.The only thing is do code serach and be very patient. It will work for yopu also. I called best but and told them it does work they had nothing to say.... PLEASE try it. I wish I had the code to send but with code search I never bothered to check what code was used. Go ahead .. and let me know.
