I hit some buttons on my remote and now it isn't programmed for my tv! And of course I lost the book, so if anyone could help me i will love you forever because it's been driving me crazy having to get up and change the channel.

Ok, it's a silver remote with blue buttons. I think the model is RC94930-B, well that's what it says near the batteries.
Oh, and my tv is a magnavox.

Thanks!

Here is a link to the GE site, with a listing for your remote. I opened the file but there was something wrong with it and it didn’t appear to be complete, but maybe you can try some other ones which may work better.

Here is a link to the Remote Central file for another GE remote, which may help. [Link: remotecentral.com]

Turn your tv on manually. Hit the set-up button and hold it until the light comes on, then hit tv, then enter your code and turn the tv off. If it goes off it is the right code if it does not then it is not.

Hi:
Try this. turn on tv manually. press & hold CODE SEARCH button until light stays lit.
press TV button. press POWER button repeatedly until tv turns off. THEN PRESS THE "ENTER" button on your remote. this same system works many devices(vcr, dvd, sat, etc.) for those, you'd press, lets say, VCR button, whilevcr is on, and then repeat the above stuff (yeah, pressing the POWER button on remote MANY times can be boring, but it will eventually turn off vcr, then hit ENTER button on remote)
repeat for each device you have, changing only the device button on remote for different electronics. good luck!

I discovered GE universal code site.... [email protected] follow thru to remote code link for tv, vcr, dvd, rcvr, sat, etc. this took me a bit to find among all the RETAILERS trying to sell me new stuff!! the link also shows how to enter them, as sometimes a tv or vcr may have several models, ans so several codes for it may need to be tried!
