any ideas? ive just purchased a 9 in 1 remote control name UET609. It looks like the normal remote thing .. with a handbook with users brand names from A to Z. I 1st pointed it at the tv & it worked out of the box.Later i tried to program it.The tv / vcr & even the audio ( amp / cd & dvd etc ) worked ok.
Later i tried to make the satelite rx work but with no joy. After trying again & again .. still no joy. The sat rx is a echostar dsb-808. Any ideas about the code required for this? ..
Ive tried a scan as in the instructions .. as this was how i made both the AMP & TV work using this remote!

Hello,

The UET609 is a very good control and dirt cheap, but I think you will find it does not do digital stuff like Sky and Freeview. There is a Sky code listed but this appears to be another company. Good news is that it does HiFi.

hallo all .. im getting lots of replies about this remote !!! it must be popular .. i was thinking of buying some in & re-selling them ... but ive not enough time to do this.
Anyhow ... ive posted the 1st 4 pages at Yahoo ... thats about all anyone needs to set this up. AS i said ... ive problems with the remote & my satellite rx ... so i CANT guarantee that U can get it working ... ( i did not make this thing ! ) ok ...
BUT ... i have posted the pages at Yahoo as i said ... if U cant get into this "photo album"
please drop me a e-mail & ill try & get a couple of pages up n running online ... cause at the momemt im getting quite a lot of interest about this.
Its a pity but a local shop is selling these for £1 ... YES one pound !!!
they have loads ... i bought 2 but gave one away ... its all right .. but id rather have the
dedicated rremote.
please try this address for the scanned pages >>>
