I have a URC6131 (that's the one with the TiVo "thumbs" design). I have a STANDALONE Series 1 TiVo and a series 1 DirecTiVo.
This is not a problem using the TiVo remotes because you can set them two separate "addresses?" so each one only controls 1 TiVo however my 6131 seems to be able to have only 1 address and therefor it controls BOTH TiVos at the same time.
Is there a way to set the 6131 to only control 1 TiVo? (does it support alternate addresses and if so, how).
Thanks

Nope, the only philips/hughes tivo code you'll find in ANY universal remote is the default code. Which will control any tivo no matter what address its set for. Replace one the tivos with a Sony, you'll have it made.

there is a way to set the 6131 to control both tivos each on a different address. However, it involves JP-1, and actually a little more (parts need to be added in).
