Pardon me if the information is somewhere obvious in these postings. I tend to miss the obvious sometimes. My question is this: I have a couple receivers (a Yamaha & a Pioneer, & a Marantz Pre-Pro) and I don't have the original remotes. The cheap universal "Walgreen's quality" remotes all seem to work the volume, on/off, and other basic functions. However, I'm looking for the remote that allows me to select the "Large" or "Small" speaker setting and the Subwoofer crossover points.
Buying the original remote seems like such a waste as I'm not intending to change these settings very often.
Can I expect the MX500 for example to complete these advanced tasks or is it a "case by case" situation.
Thanks for your experienced responses.
