1) have you looked at what I posted in one of your other threads?

2) have you thought that maybe no one has been on this board that knows the answer since you posted your first question?

3) If no one answered your first post (and it is still at the top of the forum) what makes you think that any one will answer your other posts. Actually it will probably backfire since it has more chances of annoying any regulars.

did not annoy me much, but it is just rude.

I don't know about Jensen, but a lot of times the different remotes from a manufacturer use the same setup and the same codes

did you try

Auto Code Scan:

The Auto Code Scan feature allows you to set up your components without having to enter in code numbers. The Jensen will do the work for you! (It may take a few minutes to find your code using this method.)

1) Turn on the component that you want to set up.

2) Hold the component key down until the light comes on. The green light should come on after approximately 3 seconds.

3) Release the component key.

4) If you are programming the DVD or CD device press the "action" key. The red indicator light will come on.

5) Press "0" - "9" The green light will blink as codes are sent.

6) As soon as the remote turns your component off, press the "action" key. (You have 1 second in which to press the "action" key to save the code.) The component key lights will blink with an upward motion when a code has been successfully entered. The component is now programmed. To find that code, proceed to Code Readback.

7) If none of the codes turn your component off, return to step 2 and start over.

To Program your device, (1)press down and release the device mode key (tv,vcr, etc.) (2)pressdown and hold the setup key until the led blinks twice, then release.
(3)Enter the codes 9,9,0, the led will blink twice.
(4)press numbers 1,2,3,4 observing the number of blinks after each number entered. write down the number of blink codes for each number entered, and store for future use.
I finally found the manual to my jensen remote so i'm quoting directly. have fun surfing :-) if you would like the codes to a particular device e-mail me and i'll look in the manual and get back to you.

I really need to know how to use the auto-scan feature of the Jensen JR500C universal remote. Its probably the same as the JR300. If you could help I would be very greatful.

Thanks

There is some info here, if you haven't seen it. Couldn't find your remote but something may help. Also look further down the listing at Recoton [Link: xdiv.com]
