I lost my manual, and need how to code my tv.and vcr, with the universal remote, its the

systemlinke, 4--from rca

both the tv and the vcr, are sanyos...

any help would be so cool, thank you in advance

There are 2 versions of the SystemLink 4+, and each has unique codes & programming instructions. Does your remote have 2 or 4 batteries? Once I know that, I can give you the help that you need. Or, you can contact the RCA HelpLine at 800-269-9143.

I'm having the same problem only for my toshiba DVD player. My remote has two AAA batteries in it. Thank you in advance.

I have the SystemLINK4 Universal Remote with 2 AAA batteries. I was able to program my toshiba DVD player successfully.

1. Press and hold the CODE SEARCH button until the red LED lights up.
2. Press the DVD Button
3. Press the VCR Button
4. Enter in 167
5. DONE

i have a systemlink 4 universal. can anyone give me a customer service number,so i can get help programming my aiwa stereo,sony tv, and rca satellite into this remote controll

The Jensen unit will not run most RCA home theature units. The single code provided does not work and search will not produce a code either. The customer service rep at the 800 number was useless and said they could't help.

I have an RCA SystemLink 4+ (the one with two AAA batteries). Can anyone please clue me into what the codes are for this item? Email is preferred, and I will post any helpful responses.

I can hardly believe that so many of us with 2 AAA battery RCA Systemlink 4+ remotes all lost coding on our remotes around the same time, and (of course) lost the silly manual and codes. It couldn't be Y2K ... could it? Wait, keep reading. I have 2 more amazements: First, that so many of us find this site and post the same silly somebody-help-me desperate message, and finally that RCA does not have downloadable files for codes for their remotes available on the net. Heck with it. I bought a replacement for $9. And out of principle, not an RCA! P.S. Anyone remember how to AUTO code program the thing???

I found my manual for a 4 AAA battery SystemLink 4+ Universal Remote and there is no XR-1000 VCR listed. Do you have a Manufacturer's name?

Does anyone know the codes for a panasonic tv, or does anyone know if the remote is compattible with a philips magnavox tv vcr combo. By the way i have the remote with 4 aaa batteries.
