We have the misfortune of having time-Warner cable. The cable box is a General Instrument CFT-2254 box (the face plate says CFT-2200). I have several OEM universal remotes from Sony (VCR provided), Toshiba (TV provided) and Panasonic (DVD deck). None will interact with the cable box even tho' all show Gen'l Inst. in their setup codes. As I'll soon be getting a new home theater receiver, I'd really like to have just one remote for everything. The only files I found here are forthe CFT-2000. Suggestions?

For a box going on 20 years old, l would hazard a guess at not very many.
