The remote for my Acurus ACT-3 was made by Universal Remotes, maker of the HTM SL-9000. Mine looks nearly identical to it. It is apparently NOT a learning remote, but I want to use it to control a Lutron Spacer remote light dimmer. Neither Universal Remotes nor Mondial have been able to give me a code that works, yet. Anybody else know one that will?

Well, the SL-9000 comes with "Lutron" codes in the AUX device (158,159) but they may not work with the SL-7000 (perhaps you mean the SL-8000?) or your particular Lutron device. If they don't you might be out of luck.

I tried those codes right off and they didn't work. I must be out of luck. BTW, mine is not quite the same as the 8000.
