Onkyo R1 Protocol?

Hi,
I've got an Onkyo T407 Tuner that I want to integrate into my whole-house stereo. It has a "R1" plug in the back for remote control, but I don't think it has a remote sensor on the unit itself.
Does anyone know where I can get information about what the protocol is for the R1 port? I assume it would be possible to get something else to send out the correct codes, but I don't think I'm up to the challenge of reverse-engineering them. Especially since I don't have an Onkyo receiver to test with.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks,

Brian McGee

Take a look on www.Xantech.com and see if Onkyo is listed in the installation notes for the 794 or 797 interfaces.

JC,
That's awesome! They don't have my model listed, but it might work for me. I'll have to drop Xantech a line. Funnily enough, I'm integrating a Xantech 6 zone pre-amp.
Thanks again for your help,

Brian
