Hi all,

Is it possible to somehow assign discrete ON/OFF codes in RC9800i? If so, can someone please explain or point to a resource on how this is done.

Thanks in advance!

Yes... through the activities setup, the wizard will automatically take you through screens which test which way is best to power on and power off your devices. It actually works very well as it tests all associated power codes. You can also select a code set with power on / power off and teach it power on/power off, then go though the wizard again to set it all up.

I think it's very slick because in the activity screen, there is a button called 'fix' (latest firmware) or '?' in previous firmware where it brings up a screen dedicated to power and input incase you have a combination of devices that do not have a descrete input buttons or discrete power buttons. EXCELLENT FEATURE -- one which has easily fixed my discrete code whoes in other remotes.
