I have a TV where you hit the source button to cycle through the different inputs.
I have three inputs cable, HD cable & DVD.
In the setup the RC9800 appears to accomodate this.....But...
When I switch from watch HC cable to DVD it only send shifts one source (to regular cable). Has anyone seen this before....it seems that it needs to ask what sequence the sources are in but it does not collect that during setup

I believe this was answered in the connect planet forum -- did that help you?

Not sure if the above answers your question, but here is what I would do:
1. delete the activity then reset it up -- go through this carefully
2. when an incorrect source apprears, go to the '?' or 'fix' button and change to the correct source. I have found that once it gets the right source, all other change works well.

Hi,
How many times you have to press the source button on your original remote to change inputs?
During setup you will need to choose the input selection method closest to how your TV works. Please also remember to enter all sources in the right order (if you have input 1,2,3 on your TV, do not enter 2,1,3 in the RC9800i). RC9800i collects the order of these inputs to calculate the number of commands to be sent out during these steps of setup.

Kind regards,
Support RC9800i
