Has any one tried to configure the remote to work with the Roku Media Bridge? I know that they supply codes for the pronto... but was not sure how it would work with the 9800

Hey Andy,
I think you probably mean the Roku Soundbridge ? I have the M1000. There is no IR codeset supplied that will work and the Autolearn did not work. I selected custom codeset and found that the RC9800i could be taught individual buttons. (Although I only tried the Power On/Off and Volume as that was all I need)
As for UpNp funtionality there is compatibility so long as you have at least Soundbridge 2.3.44 firmware.
Expect other soundbridges to be the same as they use the same firmware.
Hope this helps

I have set my RC9800i up to work with my Roku Photobridge (aka HD1500). I had to select a Runco Cable Box (so I got a different device icon) and then custom learn the most appropriate codes from the 'Try & Learn' list. Not ideal as it now shows up as a Runco HD1500 in the Individual Device list. Would be nice to be able to edit/rename the device manufacturer name.
Maybe this will come with a later firmware release along with button renaming, deletion etc. I live in hope :)
