Hi Guys
I am considering guying this device as a touchscreen based control unit for the Linn DS music streaming devices.
These devices access Music stored on my NAS which will have Twonky Media player installed.
Can anyone tell me if this device would allow me to access that control on the Media player using the Linn for playback? Linn sell the Klimax DS which comes with a touchscreen based remote but its a BIG price jump up.
This new remote would also replace the functions of my Logitech 1000i, which I find is a bit cumbersome (slow to change channels and what not)
Another forum member has recommended I get the newer, 9600? Should? I? I only require the use of about 6 devices, no home automation or anything like that. UPNP is the most critical feature along with standard learning/activity based commands

It maybe worth waiting a while if you can. Linn are going to make their GUI and stack open source. See here [Link: danbricklin.com]
