My projector requires you to press power twice to turn it off. Basically, you press it once, then it asks you to confirm. This is the only function I can't get to work on the 9800i. Does anyone have a workaround?

on my hd1000u projector it is in the setting to turn of the conformation message to turn off the projector... if you turned off that then you would only need to push off once...

....Light travels faster than sound. That's why some people appear bright until you hear them speak.

This can be done, by adding a "virtual" or "pseudo" device to your activity. Add another device to your remote, preferably a type of device which is already in the activity (but a different brand!!!), except a TV, for example a receiver. Program for that device for the power down button your ir-code of your lcd-projector. Add this device too your activity and set the delay settings if necessary.
If you now switch off the activity the "pseudo" device takes care of the extra power down ir-code
