But I would need a Pronto to teach it the X10 IR codes! And if my Pronto wasn't broken I wouldn't be looking for a new remote....

I use my existing ru -950 in an activity based environment , but with lots of customisations for , things like

watch tv in the lounge , but listen to mp3's in the living room ... curious as to how the rc9800i will handle those types of variables...

and of course , my ru-950 died yesterday...

so ... do i splash out a small amount on another ru-950 ...... or wait and get the new rc9800....hmmmmm...

back to my old original pronto in the mean time , Sure glad i kept it !

I found this info on their web site. I hadn't seen it before. It was new to me, anyway.
Def. the europe model: 240Volt among other things.

The days of March came and went and now the days of April are ticking by...

Starting to wonder if this thing will be released at all, let alone this month?

I agree with beever. I suspect the release is severely delayed. I checked with my local electronics store and they have never heard of the RC9800i. I remember when the iPronto was released the same store was taking pre-orders 6 months in advance. Does this mean the release of the RC9800i is delayed by more than 6 months? I wonder . . . . .

Seems to me that they should fix a few problems on the iPronto before the relese of another broken product!

We've shipped quite a few so far and where expecting that at least some of our customers would be posting their opinions...

So far - so good!

I received it yesterday - put it on the charger, read some of the manual.

Plan on setting it up today!

No feedback yet? I'm not sure if that's a good sign or a bad sign.
