Some advice for those with remote dimmer lights.
In previous forums there has been suggestions to set up a home entertainment puesdo device in reverse manner to control your lighting.
However setting up the puesdo device's power on/off to do the opposite in order to work with the activites only gives the option to turn them either on or off and not dim them, even when going into the individual device control.
With some messing around I discovered that if you programme the physical Vol or Chn hard buttons on the right side of the unit to the puesdo device created to also control the lighting, then within the individual device control you can use these to gain the dim function. So simply pressing either the + or - will power the lights on and off, but holding the + or - button down will also give you the dimming function.
So using the puesdo devices power button will be used when setting up an activity and using the puesdo devices vol or chn button will be used as part of the individual devices control, this way your covered either way for its use within an activity or not.
