Since the 9800 does not have RF capabilities, I was wonderingf what the best solution for RF would be. I have most of my equipment in the basement and need to control it from upstairs.
What device is the best most reliable (not too expensive) for convering IR to RF for about 10 different devices?
(Basically I need IR to RF back to IR to the equipment) IR extender?
Thanks Flan

If the 9800 doesn't have RF capabilities, which I don't know one way or another, then the best thing you could do is to mount an IR sensor (Graphic Eye, etc...) at your viewing area, and run a cable down to the equipment and shoot an IR blaster at the equipment.

X10 makes IR expanders in RF so you can have the remote in one room and wirelessly control things in another. There are allot of different ones on the market. X10's look like piramids. You can find them all on ebay for around $10-$30...
