Sorry folks, I suspect this question has been asked before but I just can't seem to find an answer. For the RC9800i, the whole topic of working with an RF extender seems to be absent. Is it because it obviously works with the Pronto extenders on the market or because its obvious that it doesn't need it? In any case, I'd be interested in yout thoughts. This is the only item left on my checklist before I buy this thing.

Thanks (be kind, first time poster here..)

Jeslokin,

The 9800i is actually not part of the Pronto family from Philips and does not work with the Pronto extenders. The 9800i is the first remote of many scheduled to come from Philips to require less initial setup to use while still offering complete device integration.

Hope this answers your question and I'm sure that if you have more you'll find your answers here. Thanks!
