Here's my issue:

I am looking for a remote control that will navigate the music menus of my XBOX 360 and show me a list of albums/artists on it's in-built screen. I then want to select a track for playback. I need this because I have my XBOX 360 connected to a projector and I don't want to power this on every time I want to listen to music.

Here's what I envisage as the solution, but will it work....

Will the UPNP control point capabilties of the RC9800i talk to Windows Media Connect on my PC and instruct the UPNP client on the XBOX 360 to do what I want it to do without having to switch my projector or any other video device on?

Have been looking for a similar solution for some time now. Closest that I have managed to get so far is software for a PDA running on a Wi-Fi network which can remotely control my PC.
Your media library is downloaded to the PDA so you can browse select and play. Been playing with it for a week or so now and although there are some bugs it does provide a better solution than firing up all your AV gear just to play some music.

Please not that I have not tested it with a Xbox360 primarly as my xbox will stop playing streamed music after about 20mins and Microsoft cannot provide a fix??!!?

Please look at the following website

How did you do it? I don't see it listed in Game Consoles. Did you just pick another PIece of equipment and use custom to program the buttons? I hate that you can't add a device that is not in the database...unless you can and I don't know it.
