I saw that the discrete power on and off codes for the Sony DHG-HDD500 (hdtv/dvr) are posted in the discrete codes section for the TSU7000. The Sony hdtv/dvr allows you to change the remote control codeset from the default codeset 50 to an alternate codeset 51. I have two dvrs so the second unit is set to codeset 51 so as not to interfere with the first unit.
Does anyone have the discrete on/off codes for the Sony DHG-HDD500 when using the codeset 51? Thanks...

Well, since codeset "50" isn't actually device ID 50, I'll need you to post the hex code for regular power on 51.

I have the DHG-HDD500 as well, however I haven't tried to change the remote to the alternate codeset (since the instructions are only built-in to the DVR itself and I didn't also feel like changing it over!)

Daniel, below is the power on hex code from the codeset 51. Hope you can create the discrete power off.

Apologies for digging up an old thread, but does anyone know how you switch the remote from one codeset to another?
Rob.

I'm not actually sure. The manual only indicates that instructions are given when you change the codeset in the menus on the unit, and I haven't tried!
