My new LG TV and other streaming apps may finally kill my trusty TSU7000s. Hulu and some others are using a long press to get to simple things that could easily be done without having to hold the button and donít get me started on why oh why do you need a special button like OK, select or enter or play or pause when the highlighted item can only do one thing.
Iím guessing there is no way to get the long press to work with a TSU7000?
I also have an issue with the Amazon Prime app. With the TVs remote a quick right or left arrow press gets you a 10 second jump but on the TSU7000 it jumps into fast forward mode.

There is a way to do this but it is not ideal for reasons I describe below.
Simply adjust the 'Duration' of the IR code. I believe that the 7000 had that feature added.
The issue you may find is that in cases where you need a quick-press vs a long-press, you may have to create 2 buttons and for the one you need the long press on, adjust the IR Code on that button to a longer 'Duration'.
F1 help in PPENG will likely give you some pointers.
