I have a tsu7000 and i have a new battery in it. it is charged and all i get is a flashing backlight. WHY??????????????

now I did read about funky asian batterys and I did open one of the other new ones I bought and I see no diode in it. SO I ordered a real replacement as suggested here.

I have to wait for it. to check it out

Anyone here can tell me I am doing the right thing and my unit will be good again, Thanks but only if true, LOL

No idea on whether unit will be good again. My question is, did the unit have a flashing screen prior to you putting in that battery? If the answer is yes, then I strongly suspect a new battery will not fix the issue.

No it did not. I asked why the screen was flashing the backlight.

Don't you think some of us are smart people and don't appreciate such a response?

Scott,

Was not trying to be condescending at all. I have never seen the problem you describe and as to whether or not the unit will come back, I replied to the best of my knowlege.

Sorry if I offended, was not my intent at all.

Best Regards,
Lyndel
