Hi, using an RU990 I am having great problems learning ir codes from a new PHILIPS(!!!) remote control unit
I'd have thought it should work with those !

It appears to learn the codes OK but just will not operate the equipment - a new Philips sound bar [Link: philips.co.uk]

Any help appreciated

Do you have the hex codes? Have you tried entering the codes manually into the software?

As requested in the other forum, please publish the codes that you have learned. Also look for the general Pronto FAQs regarding learning. You may have less than optimal conditions for good learning.

Philips commands suffer from toggle bit, which give learning remotes problems. Even Philips own learning remotes.
