I have designed all the pages and am now trying to build macros for certain buttons. PROBLEM: on a button (for example OFF) I want it to change an input for the tv and then go back to home the main page. Click on the button>properties>link>home page > home =NOTHING THERE, no buttons to select. IF I go back to the actual home page the buttons are there and they all work. It even shows up in the simulator but not on the link page. What am I doing wrong there. Secondly, in the same vein, I am using an Anthem Preamp and when I try to link to the various inputs Tv, CD, Sat, etc. there are NO choices in the link panel. I have "learned" the unit these commands from the current Pronto tsu1000 and it works perfectly. Then I upload back into the computer after the learning session and these 'choices' are still NOT there. I can't create a macro if I don't have a button to send it to. How do I fix this?? exasperating.. THANNks to all for any responses..

Can you please tell us what remote and what editor you are using as well as the OS of your PC?

I cannot reproduce your problem as I understand it. ie works fine for me in XP 32 bit SP3. Possible corrupt configuration file. Try this. Create a new configuration file and then merge your existing configuration into this new file. This will add your current Home Device at the bottom. Try then dragging your buttons on the existing pages into new Home pages you create in the top 'Home' activity.

If this does not work, email me your config to the email addy on my RC profile and I will have a look.

And, on a hunch, after re-reading your original post. If you are wanting to return to the Home Page, use Special Action for 'Home'. If you want to return to a specific page other than the first page in your home activity, use a Page Jump.

My apologies, I replied to the link under "my Profile" just after your reply but perhaps it didn't get to you. As for progress here is what I have done. I took the code that works perfectly in the tsu1000 and uploaded to the computer then downloaded to the tsu7000 (via the prontoeditNG software). Tried it and again the AVM2 input buttons while they made noise did NOT have any control on the preamp. I actually found the original ccf file from the mfgrs website, downloaded it and then installed the code (3 panels) into the 7000 = NO JOY! Downloaded the same file into the 1000 = PERFECT control. Double checked the IR code by having two windows open and comparing them and they seem identical. IS/COULD there be some 'compatability' problems from code written for earlier pronto's that somehow need to be adjusted for the later models? Similar to installing an old xp program into win7 by using the compatability selection (selecting xp sp3) in the program panel before actually running the install. This way it 'thinks' its running on xp. The code for the x10, sony tv and blue ray appear to be working fine it is just the AVM and the input buttons that won't change the preamp state. WITHOUT this working none of my macros will work in essence making the 7000 pretty much useless to me. If you have any ideas PLEASE don't keep them to yourself and let me know what you think. THANKS.....steve

If you are having issues with a particular IR code, post the IR code data and the make, model, and type of equipment it is for.

This thread was originally about "Options not appearing in "link" menu" so that was what I was inquiring about.

If the IR code you are inquiring about is the one in the other thread you currently have open, please post back there for continuity.

My apologies, it appears this problem has 'morphed' over time. The links were due to (as best I can tell) no actions being given to the buttons in question. As these buttons were now assigned their respective IR codes they now appear but they don't perform as they are supposed to. Do you want me to start a new thread or submit the code? The only problem I see is if I submit the code, unless you have an Anthem AVM2 how would you know if it works or not? As I had stated previously, when I push the buttons they little chime makes a noise and the pronto icon in the top bar makes the little hash marks but nothing "really" happens. I await your response and THANKS..

In the thread I linked above, a user 411avatar has posted a code for the Anthem that he is waiting for you to try. If the code issue is for your Anthem, you really should use the other thread for context.
