HI,
I want to upgrade my firmware to the latest but it says I need v2.1.1 where can I find this 1st?
Firmware update program for the color ProntoPro NG TSU7000, TSU7500, SBC-RU980 and SBC-RU990. Fixes a lock-up issue. Requires PPENG v2.1.1.

Yup I did but it only has v3 and above. And to install it

It requires 2.1.1 or higher of PPENG so that you get the Duration feature for IR codes in the editor. The file you desire is the last link on this page. [Link: files.remotecentral.com]Note that there are 3 pages to this section so be sure to view all the stuff. Also note that they all say OLD VERSION because the pronto NG series is no longer produced.

much appreciate your help. I was thinking of upgrading my firmware to this my current firmware is V1 :) So my understanding is that I need to upgrade my firmware to V2.1.1 1st before upgrading to v3.8.11 am I correct? If so, I can't find firmware v2.1.1 What I can see is Philips ProntoEdit NG v2.1.1 It is not the same thing right?

Firmware revisions are typically coupled with a revision of the editor supporting said capability. The firmware you were looking at earler called out a minimum version of PPENG (The editor) of 2.1.1.
If you have a configuration file on remote now, upload it to your computer. Install the latest editor and latest firmware, open and save your current configuration to new file name. Then download new file into the remote.
