I need some help,My 6500 Extender for my 7500 NG quit working when our 6 Sheltie Puppys got behind the Pronto center and chewed up the wiring from the emmitter to receiver 2.5mm jack.I spliced the bad section back together, and checked with an ohmeter so no shorts or opens between the 3 connections on each jack end,Should i try a new jack cable first or you think it fried the Extender ? Not sure what jack cable to buy,Its the one that joins the extender to the emitter blaster2.5mm Or maybe a fuse in either unit?,seems like 3 connections only,Red, White and Shield,Thank You,Regards, Michael

It is not the emitter wires, but rather the antenna. anyone got a pinout of that cable?

I opened up both the antenna unit and 6500 emitter module,no fuses in either unit, nothing looked smoked inside either, replaced the 2.5mm jack wire between the two, still the led on the antenna unit wont blink when receiving 7500 remote commands, not sure if the antenna unit or the 6500 emitter module or both is faulty. So i ended up ebaying a lesser but still very useable 6000 extender, and all works as before. But not knowing which is faulty, bugs the hell out of me.Thanks for your input Lyndel, Regards, Michael
