To start off i'm a novice. I have a Pronto TSU 7500. Everything was going well, I created a configuration with devices and pages. Inserted buttons, panels, frames from gallery and other configurations with no problem. Then all of a sudden I created a new page (at a later date) inserted buttons from saved bitmaps and gallery, but when I download to Pronto the buttons on the page look fuzzy like they're underneath. I tried to bring to front but they're already forward. If i copy and paste from another page it looks fine. When I go to the systems page in ppeng it looks nice and clear, but if I create a new page it looks fuzzy like there is a bunch of horozontal lines across the whole page. I can't remember when I started if my original page I created were fuzzy. If i check now in ppeng and remove the layers they are. I was playing with the system page a little, but put it back default look. Everything was working fine after playing with system page. Also everything looks perfect in ppeng, it's only when i download to pronto. I hope someone can help.

Thanks Chris

Items on the system page are displayed with hash lines on non-system pages. This allows you to easily distinguish which items are local to your page. However, I wish they'd added a 'preview' mode but alas, they did not.

Maybe post some of the bitmaps/png files to a shared photo server so we can see?

I posted 5 files on [Link: bluemelon.com] I hope this will help. Is it possible something is wrong with the pronto? I know it's a older model but I bought it new in unopened box only 10 months ago. Can it be repaired? Is it worth it. Bummed out I was having fun up until this point.

What is wrong with the images? Sure they look a bit hazy but I don't think this has to do with the remote.

The buttons only look hazy on the remote once downloaded, not on computer

Please post your PCF file zipped on the same site where you posted the images or email it to addy on my RC account and I'll have a look. I strongly suspect that you may have added a partially transparent overlay panel somewhere.

You will be able to confirm this if after download, the buttons are not pressable. If this is indeed not the case, it may be the screen of the unit but I'd want to exhaust all resources first.

Solution - Be sure you have at least 1 action (Delay 0.1s) in a newly created button prior to download or simulation. Otherwise, only every other row of the button image will be painted.

Chris,

For more background, you might want to read the Classic Pronto FAQ and then the NG FAQ. There are lots of items there that will give you tips/background on your Pronto Journey. :-)
