Hi again,
Im getting on pretty well now with my programming and im trying to go to places ive never went before when i had my old pronto.

The issue i seem to be having is when im setting delays. Basically, i have a button labelled Entertainment which takes me from the sky menu into the entertainment listings, i.e BBC 1, BBC2 and so on. What i have done though is create 4 extra pages so that when you press the entertainment button, the original page comes up behind a transparent panel, with another panel on top to act as a waiting or loding screen. Is hard to exapln but if you look at my screen shot below you should get the idea:

After it gets to the 4th dot, it jumps to the desired section. Now, heres my problem.  When i run this in the sim, it goes fast as i have the delay set to 0.3 seconds but when i download the file to the control it goes much much slower and ive even tried changing it to 0.1sec of a delay but it seems to be the same.

What would be the problem here??

Performance you are seeing is normal but you may be able to improve it. Search for "slow animation first" then "image optimization" and you'll get more info. And yes that is the latest firmware.

In fact, as a new user, you may want to have a read through the FAQs as well. Both the Classic Pronto and the NG FAQs. I reviewed them again a couple of weeks ago myself as a yearly refresher.

Also you may want to start taking notes of search keywords and searching before posting. A search for "too slow" would have pointed you in the initial direction as well.

There is so much information over the last 7 years that has been posted. I know this question has been asked several times before. However, I've never been able to get my arms around a good set of search keywords to quickly pull up the posts.

Not annoyed at all, sorry if I came across that way. I was just recommending a review of the FAQ and as you spend more time in the community, filing away a list of search keywords.

I went searching for the posts myself and it indeed took me about 5 minutes to find them but I had an idea of what I was looking for.

Chloe and animation is where I'd originally seen performance in the simulator discussed.

Keep on Pronto'ing.
