I have an RC9500 and have recently gotten an Apple TV. There are a couple of things you can do on the Apple TV like reboot it or put it to sleep but it requires that you press and hold two buttons. Is there a way to mimic this on the RC9500?

I.E., menu + down will reboot the device, menu + right will link the remote.

I tried learning on the remote with both buttons held but that doesn't do the trick.

Is it a newer model of Apple TV?

Please post the IR code data for Menu and the other codes. Then, post a the IR code data for the combination press you learned that does not work. This information will be required to define whether or not it is indeed possible.

The combined code doesn't learn at all, so I cannot post a sample of that. Yes, it's the newer Apple TV 2.

It is not an alternating Menu+Right it is a "Menu" press and hold folllowed by "Right" press and hold.

I did use them, the codes I posted are just one of a couple different Apple remotes. You had instructed me how to get the repeating codes and I used that to learn others that I had.

Did you do something special to "combine" the codes?

Do Jason's latest set of codes work? He simply took the one-shot IR data from Menu and Right/Down codes and combined it providing a common repeating IR sequence 0157 0056 0015 0E94.
