Can anyone help please. I have successfully programmed onto my RCU 960 my 6 seperate devices and gone through the process of learning all of the buttons. All work fine except for one thing.

For my Tivo device ( its a UK one but I dont think that is important) when I try to "learn" the Standby button (which effectively switches the Tivo on or off )I keep getting the "failed message", no matter if I use a hard button on the RCU960 or a screen button. The "Standby" button on the actual Tivo handset however operates the Tivo fine and so do all of the other buttons on both the Tivo handset and the RCU960. I have tried this about 10 times with no success. Any comments would be appreciated.

Try these,

900A 006D 0000 0001 8530 35D0

900A 006D 0000 0001 8530 35D1

900A 006D 0000 0001 8530 35D2

900A 006D 0000 0001 8530 35D3

If that does not work can you post some learnt hex codes that work and the hex code for Power Toggle that doesn't.

Old thread I know, but whilst looking for possible discretes (very long shot I know, I live in hope) I found this thread.
This UK Tivo box uses RC5 codes, in fact they're using virtually the same codeset as in their previous Scientific Atlanta V+ box, well with a few extra commands.
I've mapped the buttons and this is Power Toggle:
RC5 Device 10 Function 12
5000 0000 0001 0000 000A 000C
Don't understand why the OP struggled with this command??

Note: This thread is referring to the UK Virgin Media TiVo Cable Reciever.
Perhaps it should have been in the Thread Title???
I like my question marks..
