Hi, I have a tsu7000 and the hard buttons below the screen are bad.
One of them does not 'click' and stays in the 'down' or pressed position.
I am getting the tool to open up the unit to see if it just needs to be cleaned, but in the mean time...are the hard buttons on the tsu3000 the same? will they fit in the tsu7000 as replacements? the reason i ask is i usually see the 3000 (dead ones) on ebay etc... for parts..

thanks
kurt

No, I don't believe they 3000 and 7000 use the same EL unit (Elecroluminescent button panel).

Edit (I knew colors were different but was not sure if there was a voltage requirement difference - See Daniels post immediately below - so I stayed on the safe side).

First, should point out that the TSU6000 in your subject line is DEFINITELY not compatible.

EL panels are not compatible, but both the 4-key button insert and menu cursor pad should be compatible. Wrong colors, though.
