Hi Jasonvp,

I have tried some of your hex codes in post 4 and works perfectly. I have just started configuring my new Pronto TSU9400 but am also struggling with the Pace TDS850IMC HD PVR. I have followed all links and used IR Tools and MakeHex to generate the XMP.HEX.

As per Formicasa's post 5, which functions within the .HEX file would be mapped to the device functions in his post 5? This will help tremendously not to having try each.

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Hi DJMAXI,

To know which Hex Code to use for each Function simply convert each Hex Number in Post 5 to Decimal. You can use the Calculator in Window OS set to Scientific Mode to do this.

E.G.
Power 0x0F
0F = 15 in Decimal (ignore 0x).
In the HEX File, Function: 15 will be the Power Hex Code.

TV 0x50
50 = 80 in Decimal.
In the HEX File, Function: 80 will be the TV Hex Code.

There is also an option in Makehex to generate a HEX File with Hex Numbering as well as Decimal. See the Readme File in Makehex for instructions.

Cheers
Jason

Hi Jason,

Thanks very much for the prompt help! And I did miss that piece of advice from your earlier posts...

I got EVERYTHING set up and working with clean code! Even continuous presses work perfectly, something that has always been an issue with other universals! A great learning curve! :-D

I got some other equipment related questions, but will post new threads (if no info from existing threads), for ensuring I help in keeping the threads relevant and "clean".

Again, thanks!

DJ
