I'm a Pronto Newbie, so apologies for what is probably a stupid question.

Before trying to customize anything, I thought I'd first just get the Pronto to just do some basic controlling.

When I go into the Tools menu ==>Brand ==> component, then let Pronto search, NONE of my components have been found. I don't have anything obscure -- A Panasonic Plasma, Sony DVD, and a DirecTV PVR. (I also tried selecting the code sets individually).

Either the Pronto's built-in code library is really lame, or I'm really lame and doing something wrong. I realize I can do the IR-learn maneuver, but am now intrigued about what I may be doing incorrectly.

Any thoughts? Thanks!
