OK -- I have run out of original emitter double sided stickies. What do you suggest for a replacement/substitution??

Thanks.

Hot glue seems to be the prevailing opinion here. I'm using a piece of black electrical tape to hold the emitter in place on my Motorola DCT6412 cable box. All my equipment is in the closet of a second bedroom, so it's not like I need to worry how it looks. Whatever you can find to keep the sucker on there. :-P

Go to a scrapbooking shop and ask from some clear double-sided tape. Will usually be the 3M brand that was originally on the emitters.

You should do away with the sticky emitters, IMHO. I only use IR sytems like Niles, which support Hi-output IR Blasters which can contol an entire cabinet with one, maybe two HI-Output emitters. No more stickies. No more stickies falling off and no more "precision-applications" for those stubborn devices like cable and DirecTV units.
