Following on from an earlier post I've made some progress but still having fun and games.

I've discovered that the latest firmware contains B&O codes (hurah) however they only work properly when I perform a Test IR with the pronto connected to the PC.

More specifically test IR works and will e.g. move one up on volume with a brief press of test IR, or multiple up on volume when I keep test IR pressed. However when I download to my pronto the briefest of touches will still move the volume up two i.e. it only works with repeat.

Has anyone any suggestions for this please?

Thanks,
Jeddy

This is usually fixed by adjusting the duration for your IR code.

Peter,
it sounds to me like that would make every volume command a static longer length than the one he had before, making holding the button down still not work right. Where is my thinking wrong on this?
I have ACTUALLY said this a thousand times: We can't help you much without the make and model of everything involved in the problem! Unless you want a vague answer. Or none. Your move.

Don't know. But playing with duration seems to fix problems where Test IR works and the remote does not.

Test in editor always works by IR, but in device, possible, install "RF" mode... You must make sure that device in Pronto works by IR.

I faced with the other phenomena. Cease to work some buttons. Relearn. With surprise can see, that code absolutely same!

Hey, araczynski, you've just done a first: you're a new member who dredged up an old thread, but HEY! you knew you were doing it and you even mentioned it in your answer! Thanks! It's so irritating to respond to a discussion like this, then find out five posts later that it's so old it must have been resolved. It's also nice to see new help coming from old threads.
