I've read through the Vista/PENG threads but I don't see my issue addressed: PENG installed fine (using XP-SP2 compatibility) opens, opens configuration files fine, generally works great.

However, I can't get PENG to recognize my TSU3000. Vista sees the unit connect and disconnect just fine, but PENG says "Device not correctly connected."

It *will* work if I reboot the system with the 3000 connected. Which is fine, as I only change my configuration about twice a year - but I'd still like to know a fix if there is one.

The unit was balky connecting under XP, too - would connect once, then the system would have to be rebooted to recognize it again. (Different systems - I built a new platform for Vista.)

Solutions, suggestions and fixes solicited...

Have you contacted Philips Pronto Help desk to inquire as to possible solutions? The 3000 does not use a special driver and maybe they can provide some suggestions.
