I though I've seen every possible issue a TSU3000 could have; until this one.

I built an activity based PCF. At "power on" and "View Cable" a link to my descrete file page selects "source 5" HDMI in.

When I select either, all of the other functions in the macro work just fine, but the source doesn't change. The OEM remote changes the source and so does my "Source 5" button on the descrete file page.

A "View DVD" macro links to the same descrete page to "Source 2" and that changes every time.

I tried the following...
* Checked link destintion
* Reset
* Firmare upgrade
* Adding redundent "Source 5" commands
* Adding delays
* Swapped 3000 with 3500
* Assigned "Source 5" command to new buttons in different places and established links.

Nothing works. What am I missing?

The monitor is a 60" Pioneer Elite. I don't know the model, but it's new.

Thanks,
GP

I have had the same issue with a TSU7000. Code does not work in a Macro, unless it's the only code...

I neglected to say that when I first built the PCF it did work. The customer sent the 3000 back to Philips for a screen repair. They dumped the PCF, so I reloaded it. Everything else works just fine.

If it works standalone but not in a macro then this is usually fixed by
- increasing the duration for the code
- ensuring there is a delay either side of the code

Thanks Peter,

I did try repeating the code in different places within the macro and added delays. How do you increase the duration?

Open the actions properties and double click on the IR Code. One of the fields on the window that opens is called Duration.

Which means that it is NOT a Macro. A Macro is 2 or more actions in a resolved Action List. When the remote processes an Action List, it effectively pulls in all actions that might be in any "Linked" buttons buiding a final Action List. If the final Action List contains only 1 Action, even though there was a link in the original Action List, the result of a button press invoking this final Action list is the same as if the IR code data were local to the button being pressed.

I changed the duratrion from .81 to .95 and that did it. Thanks very much for your insight.
