I am confused I have not touched my remote in about a year but now I need to add a component to it. I went to open my .pcf file in proto edit 4 for my tsu7000. Proto edit will not open a .pcf file??? it will only open a .ccf file. Is version 4.0.5 what I should be using with the color tsu 7000? If not what software should I use.

I though the .pcs files where newer than the .ccf and if version 4 is the newest proto edit why will it not open .pcs files?

I'm using ProntoPro edit 2.1.8.0 software and 3.8.16 firmware with a 7000/RU980. The version 2 ProntoPro (May 2006 I think) is worth getting.

ProntoEdit 4.05 is for the older generation Prontos (1000, 2000, 6000).

The NG models use ProntoEdit NG and ProntoProEdit NG.
