I've got an RFX6500 connected to a 3000 and the volume controls (press and hold) don't seem to send the commands properly, so I run into a problem where I can't operate the volume control on my STR-DA3100ES through the minijack IR in connection every time. After pressing and releasing several times, it will work properly. I use the same commands via IR and it works properly. Thoughts? Thanks!

I suspect it's a 'Duration' issue more than likely related to Sony codes. Please see this thread. You may need a 'Duration' of 0.2seconds depending on the Command Mode of the changer. Note that 'Duration' is NOT a Delay. [Link: remotecentral.com]

If its a Sony add a .15 duration. Has worked well for the DVD players I have to deal with.
